one of the workers took my order as an extra large ice with spaghetti sauce... then yelled it back to the people making the slushies. confusion

We went back twice since this visit, and we were very happy. The staff was engaged and the customer service was greatThe staff is a little lacking. They seem to want to just be left alone. But I get it. Most of them are teenagers with a summer job and could care less. Wish it was open more because it's really good and we want to get it when we drive by and just keep it in the freezer while we are here.Update: We went back 2 more times to visit since our last visit. The staff was engaged and very customer service oriented. My wife was very happy that they expanded their business hours starting on 5/9.

so yummy! Very cool and refreshing after a day on the hot beach. The flavor is strong throughout so you don't end up with a bunch of bland ice and then syrup on the bottom. it is also soft and easy to eat with a spoon.

Best Italian ice on the east coast. You can't visit OIB without going here. They have many flavors and they have carts that go out on the beach. I recommend getting a Koozie Cup because it is very handy. Also, the Zombie flavor is great!

Our family looks forward to Sunset Slush every year. We eagerly await the cart coming down the beach, in the morning. We also like going to the shop, near the pier, on Ocean Isle Beach. Our favorite flavors include OMG, blue vanilla, cherry, and mango. When you visit OIB, it's a must have!

Fantastic- we always come here for their great options. Vegan, dairy free, gluten free. Tastes better than most ice cream places on island.

Prices are average for the a beach business. Located near the larger of the two public access points at the center of the island and in the paid parking area. They have two or more carts that travel the beach selling premade lemonade slushies and pops which is great if you have cash on you.Offerings at the shop itself are average and taste about what to expect from such a place, still coming off the beach this is a wonderful great for little kids.

great italian ice... but lack of customer service. one employee was sleeping on counter when i attempted to order.

I love this spot. It’s not overhyped. I love the branding too. The flavors explode in your mouth. The texture is so creamy. It gets busy but if you’re lucky you can grab a seat and eat your ice cream!! They have a couple of locations around the city now.

There is no better Italian ice better than Sunset slush!!! I am so glad that it is also in High Point!

To be completely honest. I get Sunset Slush almost twice a day while on vacation! It is great and I believe the prices are reasonable! If you have gone on vacation to any of the beaches in Brunswick County, NC, you MUST try this italian ice because it is like no other!

Come here every year with our koozie cups for our annual trip to Ocean Isle Beach for Gelati! So many flavors and so delicious can't miss it!

Some if the best slush cups you can get anywhere just like most places here they are very nice and you don't have to wait for a long time
